FACIAL HAIR REMOVAL
Can Amore Laser of Austin help both men and women with their facial hair? Everyday thousands of men and women are constantly tweezing, plucking and shaving unwanted facial hair. We can rid you of these annoying follicles with a series of Facial Laser Hair Removal treatments in our Medical Spa in Austin, Texas.
FACIAL HAIR REMOVAL FOR WOMEN
Many women in the US have some sort of facial hair and for most it’s not a huge concern. We all have “vellum hair” which are very fine, thin and hardly noticeable follicles of hair. Others are not so lucky. Luckily, there is now an easy solution to rid you of that shadowy mustache or the dark hair that accumulate around the jawline or chin. These hairs can be plucked, tweezed, shaved and spat at and they will continue to reappear until the food source is eliminated. That’s where Amore Laser of Austin can help! We treat the area with as little as few zaps and destroy the follicles of the pesky little hair and get rid of them for good. Our reviews speak for themselves so please take a look at them and call to schedule a free consultation. Many of our clients are so happy with the result they often return wanting additional treatment on their back, nap of neck and chest. Just think of waking up every day without having to shave! HOW WILL MY LASER FACIAL HAIR REMOVAL TREATMENT WORK?
Your treatment will be performed after your initial consultation. Depending on the area you’re having treated will determine the length of your appointment. Typically, a facial laser hair removal treatment will take approximately 15 minutes however we typically book a half hour block of time for each client at Amore Laser. During your treatment you will be handed a pair of safety googles that are to be worn during the entire treatment. These goggles will protect your eyes from infrared laser light which is intended to only come in contact with the skin on the treatment area. Amore Laser uses only FDA approved cosmetic lasers for laser hair removal, specifically manufactured by Candela.
Your treatment will be painless for the most part because the cooling feature on the Candela lasers cools the skin prior to the laser hitting the skin which is hot. Some patients have actually commented that the treatments are quite enjoyable and we tend to agree. There are circumstances where there can be some discomfort however. Some men with very dense facial hair may experience some discomfort in their earlier treatments of the series. The discomfort resides with each following treatment because there are fewer follicles to absorb the laser light energy. After your treatment our estheticians will go over a few post treatment parameters before scheduling your next appointment and sending you on your way. What’s great about this treatment is there is no down time! Amore Laser can treat a large number of areas for facial laser hair removal including, face, upper lip, lower lip, neck, chin, sideburns and ear lobes. For optimal results the hair should be darker in color as blonde, gray and red hair do not respond well to the treatment.
